Rooted Through The Storm

There are moments in life when many of us feel lost. Days filled with doubt, fear, uncertainty, and the painful question: *“Where do I belong or what am I doing here on this planet”*

The world moves fast, expectations grow heavy, and sometimes, it feels as though we are standing at the edge of falling apart.

I know this feeling personally because I myself went through a season like that. There were times when fear and doubt made me question my direction, my purpose, and even my place in the world. It felt as if life was pushing me to the edge.

Then, last weekend, I saw a tree growing on the side of a hill above a street. From a distance, it looked like it was about to fall. But when I looked closer, I noticed its roots were deeply anchored between stones and rocks. Despite the harsh conditions, the tree continued to stand tall and grow.

That tree reminded me of myself and of so many people silently fighting their own battles every day.

Life is not always easy. We bend under pressure, we face storms, and sometimes we feel alone on the edge. Yet our struggles, failures, heartbreaks, and uncertainties can become the very rocks that strengthen our roots.

Strength does not always look loud or perfect. Sometimes, strength is simply surviving another day and refusing to give up.

As Louise Dickinson Rich beautifully said:

> “I feel a great regard for trees; they represent age and beauty and the miracles of life and growth.” <

Like that tree, we may feel close to falling, but as long as our roots remain grounded in hope, faith, and resilience, we will continue to stand tall.

Growth often happens in the hardest places.
