February: Embracing the Chaos & returning to Self

We are living in a time of uncertainty—a time where nothing feels stable – nothing feels predictable. It’s the kind of moment that I like to call the “What the F*** time.” Plans are falling apart, things are going differently than expected, and the systems around us are in shock. Your nervous system is probably feeling overwhelmed, and let’s be honest, many of us are stuck in the anxiety and fear of it all.

We’re living in a period where things that once seemed stable are breaking down, and truths that were hidden are coming to light. It might feel like everything is falling apart, like a loud bang or a quiet unravelling. And if you’re feeling the shock, the fear, the anxiety, you are not alone. We’ve all been there, and we are still navigating through it. These are the times that challenge us, which push us into new spaces of growth or discomfort.

But here’s the thing: this moment, as intense and overwhelming as it is, is also an invitation to return to Self. Yes, in the middle of the chaos, it is time to reconnect with who you truly are. It’s a time to elevate your energy and vibration. This is vital, especially now, because you can only be of service to others if you’ve first soothed your own soul.

There’s a powerful reminder in the words spoken to Jesus: “Healer, heal yourself.” Even the disciples understood that tending to your own spirit is not selfish—it is sacred. Before you can hold space for others, you must first ground and restore yourself. Healing yourself is a fundamental part of being a healer in the world. When you anchor into your own wholeness, you become a clearer vessel for light, love, and truth.

Grounding in a World in Chaos

The world is a whirlwind right now, and it’s easy to get lost in the noise. Anxiety is higher than ever, fear is all around us, and that “What the F***” energy is rampant. But how do we stay sane amidst all of this? How do we keep our centre while the world feels like it’s spinning out of control?

The first step is to return to the present moment.

Breathing. Grounding. Centering.

Take a moment to slow down. Breathe deeply. Allow your senses to guide you back to the present. Nature is a great ally in this process. Whether it’s sitting by a tree, walking through a park, or even lighting a candle to create a peaceful environment—these small acts can help shift your energy. Prayer, meditation, stillness—these are your tools.

If the chaos is getting to you, don’t fight it. Reset. Use the energy of gratitude to re-center your nervous system. Even in times of struggle, there is always something to be grateful for. Gratitude has the power to calm and reset the body, to bring you back to balance. And when you are grounded, you’re more able to take the chaos and hold it with a little more grace.

Embrace the Reset

If the world feels off-kilter right now, don’t resist it. Instead, embrace it. Take the time to reconnect with yourself. Spend time with loved ones. Remember that you don’t have to navigate this journey alone. The support of family and friends can provide the reset you need. Let their energy ground you, help you remember that you are not just a passenger in this chaotic ride—you have the power to steer your own ship.

To those who are struggling: I am sending love and light your way. You’re not alone in this. And to the light-bringers out there, the ones who are holding the space for others—remember: fill your cup first. You can not pour from an empty vessel. Take care of yourself so you can continue to be the beacon of hope and healing that you are.

In the end, the energy that we put out into the world reflects back on us. So, as we ride through this storm together, let’s choose to keep our vibration high. Let’s choose to heal ourselves so that we can heal the world. Through stillness, through presence, through gratitude—this is how we stay grounded in the chaos.
